Covid-19 Member Policies & Procedures
On behalf of the Performix House corporate team, we are very excited to take the next steps to reopen the New York facility on Wednesday, September 2! In compliance with city and state guidelines, all Performix House members are required to follow all the below policies and procedures relating to COVID-19, including completion of a mandatory health screening and questionnaire form and having their temperature taken upon check-in each time they visit the House. There will be no exceptions to adhering to these policies. If a Member does not follow the mandatory state policies they will be asked to leave the House and only be allowed to return if they are in compliance.Physical Distancing:
All members must adhere to social distancing - ensuring at least 6 feet between people at all times.
All members must sign in upon entering and leaving the facility.
All members must pass facility health screening upon arrival.
Wear an acceptable face covering at all times.On-Site Activity:
Once we feel confident in relaunching ELEMENT group fit classes we will limit spots to adhere to social distancing guidelines and ensure no sharing of equipment as well as utilize a remote check-in system.
All staff & trainers will wear face coverings and maintain 6 feet of distance to the maximum extent possible.Air-Handling Systems:
Our HVAC filtration meets the highest rated filtration compatible with the currently installed filter rack and air handling systems, at a minimum MERV-13.Protective Equipment:
All members and employees will NOT be permitted into the facility without an acceptable face covering.
All members and employees MUST wear an acceptable face covering at all times while in the facility.
Members may temporarily remove your face covering while drinking, so long as they maintain 6 feet of distance from others.
If you are unable to medically tolerate a face covering, you must wear a face shield at all times.
Acceptable face coverings include, but are not limited to, cloth-based face coverings and disposable masks appropriate for exercise that cover both the mouth and nose. Bandanas, buffs, and gaiters are not acceptable face coverings for use in gyms and fitness centers.Hygiene, Cleaning, and Disinfection:
Clean and disinfect your equipment both before and after use.
Staff will also be available to clean and disinfect all equipment both before and after use.
Every high touch area of the facility (locker rooms, reception, gym floor…etc.) will be cleaned and disinfected every hour.Communication:
Immediately notify state and local health departments of any confirmed cases of COVID-19.
Any individual who screens positive for COVID-19 symptoms will not be allowed to enter the facility.
